Alder and hickory smoker bags
Instructions for Use
Instructions for Use
Instructions for gas grill
Lower the rack of the grill to the lowest possible position and pre-heat the grill. Preheat grill at high setting
for 10 - 20 minutes or until very hot.
Pat the food dry and season for taste. For best results, allow the food to adjust to the room temperature for a maximum of 30 minutes before starting to cook.
Fill the bag with the food (only fill 2/3 of the bag for best results). Place the food directly in the bag. If you wish, you can also place the food first in an oven-safe roasting pan (that fits inside the smoker bag).
Close the smoker bag tightly by folding the opening at least twice and then turning in the corners.
Place the bag on the hot grill so that the “THIS SIDE DOWN” side is down. Place the bag on the grate.
Cook on hot setting for the first 10 - 15 minutes and then lower the temperature to medium and cook the remainder of time listed on the chart. Note: Do not turn the bag upside down during or after cooking.
Warning: Do not let open flames touch the bag as aluminium foil will melt.
Take the bag from the oven or the grill using oven mitts or other hand protection. Caution: The bag will be very hot.
Let the food rest in unopened bag for 5 - 10 minutes before opening.
